Change & the Brain

Biologically, change is one of the most difficult things for humans to face.

We resist it. Our brains crave comfort, predictability, and routine. Anything outside this triggers alarm bells, often putting us into fight, flight, or freeze mode. A rigid, phased approach to change fails to address the fundamental need for people to feel safe—both physically and psychologically.

Knowing that it's incredibly hard for people to change, we must approach change in such a way that takes into account the neurscience and how we can get past our most innate biological defences.
